Furtuna Skin had been on my must-try list for quite some time now. So I was super excited to get the opportunity to try out a specially curated set, known as the Rituale Luminoso Transformation Travel Set, which includes a micellar essence, a face & eye serum, and a moisturizing face oil. For those who don’t know, all of Furtuna Skin's products originate on their own organic farm in Sicily! This set includes sweet-smelling, wild foraged botanicals designed to help transform your skin.

Furtuna believes in the fundamental pillars of skincare, and that is reflected in the dual action formulas of each of these products. First up, in pillar one, you’ll prepare skin with Acqua Serena Micellar Essence, a cleanser and toner in one that removes impurities, balances pH, and soothes for a radiantly bright complexion. Pillar two involves treating the skin with Porte Per La Vitalità Face and Eye Serum, a dual-use, supercharged treatment for the face and eye area that absorbs in a flash for an instant glowing transformation. Key hydration comes into play in pillar 3 with Due Alberi Biphase Moisturizing Oil, a two-in-one bioactive blend for plumping moisture, antioxidant protection, barrier moisture repair, and Vitamin C to help support skin’s natural collagen synthesis. These three essentials create a transformative ritual (like the name of the set implies) that leave skin luminously smooth and protected, while helping to soften fine lines and restoring the skin’s overall resilience.

Thanks to natural ingredients like olive oil and anchusa azurea, both of which are packed with vitamins and fatty acids to nourish, rejuvenate and soothe your complexion, you’ll be saying hello to glowing, luminous skin in no time. I was initially drawn to Omorovicza after I came across the Hungarian skincare company’s profile on Instagram. Working with a Hungarian Nobel Prize-winning laboratory, Omorovicza developed and patented the Healing Concentrate™ to deliver all the potent minerals occurring naturally in the Omorovicza healing waters into skin. So interesting! Even better, all their products are vegan, gluten-free, and contain no sulfates, parabens, or synthetic fragrances! Woot woot!

Acid Fix is a multi-purpose AHA/BHA treatment containing glycolic, salicylic, and lactic acids that work their magic to give you radiant, younger-looking skin. I’ve found it to be the perfect serum for dullness, uneven skin tone, and even blemishes. Say buh-bye to damage caused by sunlight, pollution, and acne, and look forward to brighter, visibly plumped skin. I can attest to that after just a few weeks of use!

If you have oily or combination skin, the Balancing Moisturizer should definitely be in your routine. This cooling gel-cream moisturizer works to keep your skin adequately hydrated while also reducing shine. I love how refreshing it feels when applied, and how it supports the skin’s natural oil balance. Large pores? No more! The complex also works to brighten dullness and blur the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and pores.

I’ve been carrying around the Queen of Hungary Mist in my bag as well, and I must say it makes for the perfect refreshing spritz whenever your skin needs a bit of a pick me up. It also works well as a post-cleansing toner. The neroli and rose scent is just to die for! If you’re on the hunt fo more supple and youthful skin (I mean, who isn’t?!), I highly suggest you try out some Omorovicza products.

Brighter, more glowing skin always sounds pretty appealing, am I right? Uneven skin tone can be frustrating, and although I try to be diligent in my use of sunscreen and other anti-aging products, sometimes the spots and discoloration still peep through. Thankfully, Dermalogica’s PowerBright TRx line of products is here to help us combat the dullness! I’ve been using the PowerBright TRx C-12 Pure Bright Serum and the PowerBright TRx Pure Night Face Moisturizer, and I can already tell a difference. I love how lightweight and quickly absorbed the serum is- it’s super potent, but still gentle enough that I can use it both day and night! This baby works to fight all sorts of hyperpigmentation, including brown spots, discoloration, and uneven skin tone thanks to ingredients like oligopeptides, phytic acid, and red & brown algae.
