britt’s picks // holiday gift guide

The holidays are fast approaching, and I have created the ultimate gift guide just for you, my readers! From fashion to home goods to beauty and wellness, there's something for everyone on your list. Plus, many of these stores are offering some pretty epic sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday (some of which have already started, by the way). Now, get to shopping, and happy holidays!

FOR THE HOME:

Sonder Los Angeles- Motley Cutting Board

What home cook doesn’t need a beautiful, high quality wood cutting board? This one is made from a beautiful combo of American black walnut, maple, and cherry. Plus it offers a reversible design with a “cracker well” that’s great for entertaining. I think it would sit pretty on any kitchen countertop!

Smeg- Drip Filter Coffee Machine

For all my coffee aficionados, this beauty from Smeg is a fun, modern update to your typical drip coffee maker. Plus, it doesn’t take up much space, and is way prettier to look at, in my opinion!

Norden- Ojai Ceramic Candle

I’m all about burning candles this time of year, and I’m obsessed with this ceramic, hand-thrown one that smells of frankincense, patchouli, and citrus. Bonus points for double duty use- when the candle is finished, use the ceramic piece as a cup or decor!

FOR THE SKINCARE ADDICT:

Sunday Riley- Power Couple Advanced Exfoliating and Brightening Routine

These are two of Sunday Riley’s most popular products, and for good reason. They are anti-aging powerhouses (thanks to lactic acid & retinol), and work to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin like no other. A smooth, radiant complexion is calling your name!

Drunk Elephant- Glowy the Night Kit

This skincare kit made from Drunk Elephant has all your nighttime essentials in one set. From washing away pollution to removing dead skin cells to supporting your skin’s natural barrier, it’s sure to leave you nice and glowy.

Dr. Barbara Sturm- The Winter Kit

This intensive hydration kit from Dr. Barbara Sturm is the perfect winter cure-all for skin. The seven steps include cleanser, serums, masks & more that work to nourish & protect the skin from the elements of winter. Great for calming redness and irritation too!

FOR THE WELLNESS GURU:

Kitsch- Jade Roller

Jade rollers are all the rage lately, thanks to their many wellness benefits. Lymphatic drainage, decreased puffiness... not to mention getting you to take a little extra ‘’me time” before starting your day.

Courant- Airpods Leather Case

For my music & podcast listeners, how about a nice leather case for your AirPods? It’s sure to protect them during any fitness activity, but also looks pretty dang cool just hanging out on your desk as well.

Yeti Yoga- The Malibu Yoga Mat

Yoga mats can be plain and simple, but why not get one that’s pretty to look at? It might just give you that extra boost of energy during a yoga session, or inspire you to keep coming back to the mat.

FOR THE FASHION LOVER:

Danse Lente- Lola Bag

Super chic, buttery soft, and holds way more than you think? All signs of a great handbag, in my opinion. Plus I love a neutral color that goes with practically everything! This is a year-round bag, for sure.

slip- Pure Silk Pleated Face Covering

Masks are in, if you didn’t already know, so you might as well have fun with it! Silk is breathable, but still protective, and super pretty to boot. Get multiple colors to match your outfit- they’re washable!

Isabel Marant Etoile- Gabriel Coat

A statement coat that is as cozy as a sweater? Yes please! This plaid number in beautiful shades of blue can totally take a simple jeans & tee look to the next level with minimal effort. Throw it on and go!

FOR THE COOKBOOK-WORM:

Eating Out Loud- Eden Grinshpan

I’ve been a fan of Eden’s for a while now. She’s a Brooklyn-based mom, her Instagram is hilarious, and I absolutely loved her fast casual restaurant in NYC, Dez. So it’s no surprise this cookbook is full of bold flavors and mouthwatering Middle Eastern dishes that you just can’t wait to whip up.

Flavor- Yottam Ottolenghi

I have practically all of Ottolenghi’s books, from Plenty to Plenty More to Sweet, and they’re all packed full of beautiful, flavorful dishes. Of course Flavor is no different, and it should easily earn a spot on our bookshelf.

100 Cookies- Sarah Kieffer

If you haven’t seen or heard about Sarah Kieffer’s uber popular pan-banging cookies, I’m not sure where you’ve been (or maybe you’re just not as cookie obsessed as I am). But trust me on this one- get the book and start banging some damn cookies!
